Men's Health enlisted my expertise to oversee the design of their new gym facility, nestled within the confines of the Hearst Tower. Our collaborative efforts resulted in the transformation of a corner room into a fully functional fitness haven.
My responsibilities encompassed every facet of the design, ensuring a harmonious and motivating environment. This entailed the careful selection of elements, from the choice of colors, materials, and the intricate design of the gym flooring to the precise hues adorning the walls. I extended my discerning eye to the gym equipment, meticulously handpicking the colors for the metal frames and the sumptuous leather upholstery.
In addition to the core design elements, I curated supplementary features to elevate the gym's functionality and aesthetics. A wooden bench offers a comfortable respite for moments of rest during workouts, while a strategically placed mini-fridge keeps refreshments close at hand. A dedicated cubby serves as a versatile space, accommodating sweat towels, snacks, and storage needs. Finally, it also provides an ideal platform for proudly showcasing the latest printed issue of Men's Health magazine, bringing together fitness and lifestyle seamlessly.
